I have been photographing people for over two decades, with a dedication to creative portraiture. Shooting in the real world means my subjects often end up dirty, not only from posing on the ground, up against walls or laying on stairs but also from assorted makeup and other textures used to enhance the shots.

It's really been years since I've been on DA with any frequency and I feel out of touch. What is going on here now? What do you guys do on here? Are there specific groups which are amazing to be a part of? Any specific sub-genre communities which are doing well? I still don't even really understand how the groups work on here, it's been so long. Back in the day I and others used to make and administer groups on DA from personal accounts! God knows where I found the time to do that!!!

I'm still working on launching my business. This weekend is dedicated to learning about SEO and building my website. Fun Fun Fun!

I miss you all. I wish I hadn't fallen out of touch with so many of you but life sometimes does that. I hope to be back here with a bit more frequency, especially now that I'll be shooting regularly again!

Also when I took that photo at uni getting my distinction certificate I never thought the first time I had a photo taken there with you... I'd be wearing clothes receiving awards as a student a year later... I was thinking of our shoot in that image. :)
